Just a quick update

Just uploading the images created in Photoshop and Illustrator on Friday. It’s nothing special, but they were just thrown together in a short time anyway.



Today (being Monday) was a lecture on picturing identities in the morning. I went through an essay plan and actually started to write some of the essay itself.

Dice on the table...

On Friday we were all introduced to Maya and were given the task of making some dice.
As I've had two years experience using Maya, I was able to make these dice fairly quickly...



So I had time to make a video as well.

Miss Perception?

After listening to a lecture on perception, I’ve been looking at some optical illusions. Particularly ones that show more than one thing depending on the way you look at it.

I’ve also looked at essay structure and have been thinking about a possible question for the essay on portraits. I have also started to come up with some sort of plan as to what to do in the next few weeks.

Bleary eyed?

Today I’ve been looking at some of the suggested artists/photographers websites.

Looking at Bill Armstrong’s website, I first thought he had taken ordinary photographs and blurred them. What I didn’t immediately realise was that all the photos taken, were just of collages.

This is my first proper post on my blog which has taken me long enough to figure out how it works!
